It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Pauline Wade of Oak Hill, Ohio, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James New and Esteline Lou Wolford New; and her husband Jerry L. Wade, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Susan Green (Sherman) of Gallipolis, Jill Rustemeyer-Burton of Gallipolis, Jayne Ann Grafentine (Tim) of South Carolina and Jerry "Jack" Wade, Jr. (Charlene) of Gallipolis; her grandchildren, Michelle Jarrell (Wade), Chelsea Caldwell (Wade), Sara Rustemeyer, Crystal Flint (T. R.), Wendy Lehew (David), Winston Wade (Katie), Kelli Smith (Brian) and A. J. Grafentine (Tiana); her great grandchildren, Justin, Jaxon Waugh, Brant, Gabe Caldwell, Lauren, Conner, Ethan Smith, Nolan and McKenna Grafentine; and her siblings, Louise Sikora of Great Falls, Virginia, Janet Wilson of Charleston, Jeff Irwin (Marilyn) of Charleston and Roland Wolford (Janet) of Huntington.
