He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Crabtree and Lucille Crabtree; and his sister June Seymour. He is survived by: his wife Irene Crabtree; his daughters, Jennifer Bevard, Crystal Hughes and Megan Crabtree; his grandchildren, Ashton, Mason, Nick, Charlie and Alaina; his great grandchild Piper; his close friend Lonnie Delaney; his nieces, Karen Young and Lynn McElroy; and his sisters, Priscilla Lahrmer, Donna Boggs, Loretta Tobert and Wanda Waugh.
