He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gieke and Kathleen Gieke (Nance); and his siblings, Bill, Zona, Judy, Linda, Joyce and Roger.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa; his friend George Jones; his wife Carol Gieke (Fulk); his son Scott Gieke; his granddaughters, Andrea Martin (Michael) and Ashley McCoy; his great grandchildren, Michael, Nevaeh and Kendall; his sister Fern Eggers; and his friends, Rick and Shirley Adkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
