She was predeceased by: her father Wilford Snyder; her husband Paul Absten; and her siblings, Vance Snyder, Robert Snyder and Donna Snyder.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Midkiff (Terry) and Greg Caulley (Darlene); and her grandchildren, Kara Elcess (Andy), Ashley Midkiff, Andrea Moore (Derrick) and Adam Midkiff. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
