She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carter and Lexy Carter (Yates); her husband Robert P. Jones; her siblings, Opal Hughes, Leo, Delbert and Edward Carter; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Hughes, Ovid "Butch" Trotter, Nip Howell, Les Miller, Paul Jones, Jack Jones, Frances Carter, Arlene Carter and Madge Howell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Phyllis Trotter and Connie Rouse (Bill); her daughter Lana Wyatt; her grandchildren, Stacy Stevens, Wendy, Tracy Johnson, Ashley McCombs, Geoff King, Billy Hayes Jr., Makayla Hayes and Steven Swingle; her siblings-in-law, Goldie Carter, Bertha Carter, Paula Jones and Morgan Jones (Marilyn); and her stepson Larry Jones. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
