It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Christina Betts of Oak Hill, Ohio, born in Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Thornton and Elsie Thornton (Clevenger); her husband John Edward Betts; and her sons, Charles Edward Betts and Thomas Harrison Betts.
She is survived by: her children, Edna White of Louisiana and Steven A. Betts (Debbie) of Oak Hill, Ohio; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Betts of Oak Hill, Ohio; her grandchildren, Stacey Vennes, Ronald Lee Riffe, Patricia Zinn, Tammy Ruth Betts, Christina Trowbridge, Kellie Chaney, Travis Lee McDaniel and Danielle Faith Gillum; her great grandchildren, Dakota Dowden, Steven E. Betts, Eric Zinn, Danielle Zinn, Macy Zinn, Kylan Childers, Jersey McDaniel, Charli McDaniel, Remington Biggs and Owen Gillum; and her cousin Betty Betts. She is also survived by several great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
