He was predeceased by: his father Clarence McGowan; and his brothers, Keith and Clarence McGowan. He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy Boyd (Ricky) of Jackson, Vicky Ray (Danny) of Jackson, Lynn McGowan of Oak Hill and Henry Mac McGowan (Burnetta) of Jackson, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
