It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Robert Overturf of Oak Hill, Ohio, who passed away on January 1, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Overturf and Wanda Payne; his former wife Helen Perkins; his wife Wanda Ball; and his siblings, Francis Sweeney and Kendall Overturf.

He is survived by: his siblings, Richard and Teri of Columbus; and his stepchildren, Candie Ball of Oak Hill, Tammy Ball of New Marshfield, Joe Ball of Thurman and Penny Lynch of Zanesville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

“hello, sorry to here about jims passing,we went fishing a lot up to lake erie in the mid 90's,i got him a job at were i worked at techneglas inc.i visited him a least once or twice a week after hellens passing,we sent christmas cards to each other,i tryed to reach him on christmas day by phone,i left a message,no reply,rick is the one that may no me,he deleiverd mail, also a bowler visited jim and hellen a lot at one time,dont no if jim ever mention me to any of you. you have my sympathy”
