He was predeceased by: his parents, Dow Crabtree and Nellie Crabtree (Ervin); and his siblings, Burl, David Crabtree, Barbara Allen, Constance McNerlin and Norma Jean Crabtree.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Bates; his sons, Douglas Michael Crabtree Jr. (Cindy Mullinix) of Springfield and Kevin Crabtree (Whitney) of Oak Hill; his granddaughters, Katelyn Welch (Christopher), Payton Crabtree and Baylee K Crabtree; and his great grandchild Augustus "Gus" Welch.
Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask while indoors and practice proper social distancing procedures.
