He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Evans and Mary Evans (Allen). He is survived by : his wife Lynette Evans (Steffy); his stepdaughter Elisa Lang (Corbin); his grandchildren, Ava and Jack Gullion; his daughter Danielle Hale (Terry); and his grandchildren, Joseph Hale (Jessica), Andrew Hale (Ashley) and Rebekah Putman (Marcus).

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home (202 Maple Ave, Oak Hill, OH 45656). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
