He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivola Howard and Earcell Howard; and his siblings, Harold "Spike", Paul Howard and Kay Cook.

He is survived by: his wife Betty (Snyder); his children, Dale "Mark" (Staci) and Christi (Doug); and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Cook, Collette Howard, Marlene Absten, Connie Evans and Mandy Strickland. He is also survived by children, grand-children and great-granddaughter.
