With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Fay Wolford (Oak Hill, Ohio), who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Gillispie and Cora Gillispie (Miller); her husband Thelmer Wolford; her daughter Debra Gloss; and her siblings, Bonnie Spence, Dewey Gillispe Jr. and Ronnie Gillispie.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Cox of Gallipolis, Sherrie Cox of Rio Grande, Ohio, Jeff Cox (Rhonda) of Thurman and Mike Barry of Thurman, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jessica Peterson of Gallipolis, Jennifer Conley (Jeremy) of Huntington, Michael Barry (Tiffany) of Rio Grande, Megan Adkins of Gallipolis and Wyatt Cox of Thurman, Ohio; her great grandchildren, Karina Barry, Hunter Peterson and Gunnar Peterson; her siblings, Arlene Curran, Alberta Zarbaugh, Pat Francisco (Bob), Harvey Gillispie (Donna), Betty Ferris (Jack), Jeannie Marlow (Keith), Oakley Gillispie (Charlotte) and Carrie Adkins (Ermal); and her close friends, Carla Abshire and Carla Speakman Snyder. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
