He was predeceased by: his father Ronald L. Heiks. He is survived by: his mother Judith A. Heiks (Vogt) of Oak Harbor; his brothers, Timothy Heiks (Natalie Green) of Rehoboth, DE and Todd Heiks (Deborah) of Graytown, OH; his niece Deminique Heiks (David Steinkirchner) of Toledo, OH; and his nephew Tyler Heiks (Runyu) of Kennesaw, GA.. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
