It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon R. Hess of Oak Harbor, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Yohnke and Helen Yohnke (Brant); and her granddaughter Taylor Hess. She is survived by: her husband David Hess; her children, Tamra Hanely (Lee), David Hess (Lynn), Boone Hess (Karen), Wendy Young (Jeff) and Darin Hess (Barb); her grandchildren, Jennie Pierson (Aaron), Byron Atkinson, Justin Atkinson (Jaime), Eric Hanely, Kelsey Hall (Blair), Jessica Hess, Lindsey Stiger (Dillon), Logan LaPointe (Alex), Jaclynn Blazek (Phil), Trevor Hanely, Jacob Groesser, Jordan Hess, Julie Young and Rachael Young; her sister Marvene Whitmore; and her adoptive son Tom Flowers (Mary). She is also survived by 8 great- grandchildren.
