He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Wendt and Alfred Wendt; his siblings, David Wendt and Phyllis Henry; and his niece Deborah Jones (Wendt).
He is survived by: his wife Tanya (Kleinhans); his daughter Emma; his siblings, Jim Wendt (Pat), Kathleen Fawley (John), Janet Burg (Joel) and Dale Wendt; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Wendt, Dan Wendt (Laurie), Todd Wendt, Ben Henry (Kristi), Matt Henry (Emily), Brian Fawley, Lisa Fawley, Tyler Burg, Kelsey Wright (Cody), Erin Michel (Gary), Kaitlin Paten (Travis) and Kyle Wendt.
