We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2022, at the age of 83, Richard L. VanNess of Oak Harbor, Ohio, born in Port Clinton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles VanNess; his wife Verna Clere; his son Darryl; and his granddaughter Jessica. He is survived by: his children, Robert VanNess (Laura) of Powhatan, VA, Kelly Berndt of Oak Harbor, OH and Darrin VanNess (Samantha) of Oak Harbor; his grandchildren, Nicholas VanNess, Nicole Sipe (Jimmy), Libbe Lewis (Eddie), Kevin VanNess (Breanna), Kurtis VanNess (Bailee), Kenny Ray and Cody Berndt; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Mason, Olivia, Hudson, Landyn, Zander, Zoey, Havenn, Dawson, Collins, Eli, Clere, Eddie and Maggie; and his great great grandchildren, Bentley and Kellen.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Genoa Senior Center or St. Boniface Catholic Church.
