He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Sr. Cornett and Elsie Cornett; and his siblings, Ella Mae Sizemore and Jimmy Cornett. He is survived by: his brother Dexter "Jack" Cornett (Gloria); his daughters, Robin Chio (Terry), Theresa Sutherland (Eric) and Sherri Mooney (Tim); and his grandchildren, Shelbi, Dallas, Jessicka, Tatumn, Koral, Paige, Sirena, Hayden, Grace, Kailee, Adalynn, Aubree and Scarlet.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the ALS Association of Northern Ohio.
