It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyle W. Peters of Oak Harbor, Ohio, born in Elmore, Ohio, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ervin Peters; his siblings, Ronald Peters and Jane Tolan; and his brother-in-law Gary Whiting. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Whiting of Oak Harbor; his children, Kimberly Groh (Dave) of Findlay, OH, Kendyl Peters (Dawn) of Elmore, OH, Kristine Tarallo (Tom) of Oak Harbor, Kevin Peters (Lori) of Gibsonburg, OH and Korilee Hatmaker (Ronald) of Oak Harbor; and his former wife Lodema Swift. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; 5 step- great grandchildren.
There will be no interment at this time as Lyle wished his body to be donated to the University of Toledo Medical Center. Memorial Contribution may be given to: St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church Organ Restoration Fund, Stein Hospice, or a charity of the donor's choice.
