He is survived by: his wife Margaret Chio; his daughters, Judy Hart (Jack) of Waverly, OH and Cindy Wargowsky (Chuck) of Oak Harbor, OH; his grandchildren, Tricia McCoy (Leon), Heidi Duffett, Bryan Connell (Alan Gustafson), Jason Connell (Stephanie), Nicole Craze (Ian), Brandi Marshall and Emily Hart; his brother Jerry Apling of Sandusky; and his half-brother Lynn Apling (Linda) of Oregon, OH.
