George C. Briggs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George C. Briggs of Oak Harbor, Ohio, who passed away on December 10, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George C. Briggs to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George English and Garnet English (Allison); and his siblings, Tom, Dale English and Patty Neagos.
He is survived by: his father-in-law George English; his wife Sue Hunt of Oak Harbor, OH; his children, George Briggs Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Terry Briggs (Neila) of Pistton, PA and Liz Marquart (Joel) of Oak Harbor, OH; his grandchildren, Jennifer Perez, Christine Briggs, Terry Briggs Jr. and Kelsey Marquart; and his sister Sandra Koch of Port Clinton, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church (360 E Ottawa St, Oak Harbor, OH 43449). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Harbor Rotary.
