He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Stone; and his brother Richard Stone. He is survived by: his wife Sally Felder of Oak Harbor; his children, Stacey Reau (Mark) of Fremont, OH, Tracey Huss (John) of Woodville, OH and Spencer Stone (Shannon Damschroder) of Oak Harbor; his sisters, Norma Nehls of Port Clinton, OH and Bev Schiets of Fremont, OH; and his grandchildren, Reagan, Lauran, Briallen, Brooklyn Reau, Addison, Myra and Brant Huss.
