He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Beard and Pauline Beard (Adams); his half-siblings, James Malone and Frances Malone; and his brother Ralph Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn (Risch); his children, Steven (Lenda) of Jacksonville, FL, Brian (Reta Ontko) of Oak Harbor, Denise Woolley (Dennis) of Oak Harbor, Bruce (Trina Monak) of Fremont, Mark of Fremont and Scott (Theresa Estrera) of Graytown; his grandchildren, Carrie Beard, Jennifer Beard, Amanda St Germain, Steven Beard, Nicole Clemons (Nick), Alex Beard and Andy Beard; his great grandchildren, Makenna Garza, Millie, Mason Kirk, Connor and Kyla Clemons; his brothers, Donald Beard (Charlene) and Paul Beard; and his sister-in-law Sandra Beard. He is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and family friends.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or ProMedica Hospice.
