He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin C. Wadsworth and Verda Wadsworth (Yiesley); his wife Mary A. Thayer; his brother Keith Floro; his grandson Benjamin Reif; his parents-in-law, Robert "Pop" and Isadora "Bunce" Thayer; and his siblings-in-law, Max, Dorothy Harder, Sue and Audrey Thayer.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Reif (Tom) of Clayton, MI, Chris Floro (Holly) of Fayetteville, SC and Betsy Fofrich (Steve) of Oak Harbor; his grandchildren, Edward (Terri), Carrie (Mike), Adam (Rebecca), Katharine, Rebekah (Izzy), Emily (Calvin) and Renee (David); his brother Kent Floro of LaCarne, OH; and his brothers-in-law, Donal Thayer of Cincinnati, OH and Rodney Thayer of Midlothian, VA.. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Darrell may be given to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor or the Erie Township Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
