He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Weirich and Esther Weirich (Blausey); his wife Marylou Weirich (Crone); his son David Weirich; and his brothers, Robert Weirich and Kenneth Weirich.

He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Weirich (Jen) and Duane Weirich; his stepchildren, Jasen Palmer, Adam Palmer, Elizabeth Wittenberg (Will) and Andrew Palmer (Becky); his daughter-in-law Patti Weirich; his grandchildren, Nicalos Weirich, Grant Weirich (Alexandra), Grace Weirich, Ross Weirich, Heather Gilbert (Justin) and Joshua Weirich (Kristen); his stepgrandchildren, Danielle Thoren, Amanda Thoren, Logan Palmer, Joseph Palmer, Liam Wittenberg, Jack Wittenberg, Nina Palmer, Evan Palmer, Jordan Williams and Casey Williams; his great grandchildren, Tenley Gilbert, Laney Gilbert and Theodore Weirich; his stepgreat-grandsons, Dominic Johnson and Austin Johnson; and his siblings, Don Weirich and Carol Sue Jensen.
