It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan James Avery Sr. of Oak Harbor, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest F. Avery and Anna K. Avery (Rafferty); his siblings, Jack Avery, Richard "Cork" Avery, Ellean Shaneck, Charles Avery, Ernest Avery, Vera Schultz and Donna Ireland; his granddaughter Hope; and his great grandchild Cora.

He is survived by: his wife Irene E. Martin; and his children, Lorrie Richards, Allan Avery, Jr. (Tina), Vera Snyder (Steve), Amy Williams (Dave), Seidona Lather (Darrell), Anna Hayes (Ryan), Holly Avery, Lori Pepper (Dennis), Kimberly Haviland and David Weldon (Angie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
