He is survived by: his wife Joanne Carran; his children, Gerald, Jr. (Margaret), Scott (Kathleen) and Janice Lightner (David); his grandsons, Jay McGill (Sara), Andy McGill (Megan), Chris Brickner (Jackie) and Preston Brickner (Lauren Rosenberg); his stepgranddaughter Elyse Foote (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Liam, Noah, Grace, Brooks, Cole, Louie and Cade; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Conrad and Townsend; and his nieces, Cindy O'Neill and Leslie Smith.
