He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rowan and Frances Rowan; his son Edwin; and his sisters, Mary Ann Gaglione and Alice Tracek.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Rowan; his children, Maureen Salzano (Al), Tim Rowan, Rick Rowan (Denise) and Cheryl Kemper (Mark); and his grandchildren, Michelle Rowan, Kristen Vines, Megan Salzano, Nathan Kemper and Everett Kemper. He is also survived by loving in-laws, and so many friends.
