He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Antoinette Whitacre; his parents, Lawrence Whitacre and Sadie Whitacre; and his sister Lois Weiland. He is survived by: his children, Ralph Whitacre (Marilyn) of The Villages, FL, Linda Louise Schubert (Michael) of Covington, WA, Beth Ann Ortegon of Lorain, Kurt Whitacre (Chris) of Vermilion and Larry Whitacre (Diana) of Huron; his grandchildren, Rick, Gabriel, Gina, David, Jenna, Daniel and Lucas; and his great grandchild Noah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
