He is survived by: his sons, Henry Ayers (Rhiannon), Seth Ayers (Jeneva Auble) and Matt Ayers (Amber Wright); his daughter-in-law Tara Paramore; his stepgrandchildren, Aubreigh, Lauryn, Saige Ayers, Jake Ayers, Alexis and Cayden Baker; and his siblings, Melba Ayers, Homer Ayers Jr. (Sandy), Chuck Ayers (Connie Moss) and David Ayers of Loudonville.
