With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Novella Ford (Norwood, Ohio), born in Coeburn, Virginia, who passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Ford; her parents, Maggie Collins and Loyd Collins (John Ford); her son-in-law Larry Atwood; and her brothers, Raymond and Billy Collins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Soliz (Max) and Carolyn Atwood Ayers (Terry); her grandchildren, Jonathan Atwood (Natalie), Nathan Atwood (Erica), Matthew Atwood and Brooke Soliz; her great grandchildren, Makenzie, Carter, Toby, Paisley, Jacobi and Malachi; and her siblings, Louella Reed (Harold), Chester Collins and Carla Collins. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Her family encouraged her to retire last year when the pandemic began.
