He was predeceased by: his wife Betty L.; his granddaughter Angie; his parents, Anna and Clarence Carter Sr.; and his brother Clarence Carter, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, David Aubrey (Brenda), Eugene Carter, Jr. (Michelle) and Adored; and his grandchildren, Jeff, Lori, Trisha, Eric and Cherished. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins & second cousins and other relatives and friends.
