He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willie, Madeline Harness, Douglas and Frances Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Paul M. Smith and Barb Smith; his sibling Ashley Miller (Jeremy); his nieces and nephews, AJ, Josiah, Noah, Elizabeth and Laura; his aunts and uncles, Gerald Harness and Beverly Rizzo (Robert); and his cousins, Kathryn Parsons and Jaxon Thomas Houston.
