He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence C. Orwig and Edith Orwig (Eppley); and his daughters, Janet Pauline Griffin and Heather Orwig. He is survived by: his wife Debra A. Daugherty Orwig; his children, Carolea Mercer (Don) and Julia Rebecca Outzs; his grandchildren, Alexis Heather Mercer, Kylie Dawn Tucker (Tag) and Joshua Outzs; and his great grandchild Aleah Dawn Tucker.
