He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran "Gene" Chappelear and Dolores Chappelear; and his brother William "Willy" Chappelear. He is survived by: his son Dustin of Hurricane; and his brothers, Denny Jameson (Sarah), Chris Jameson (Amanda), Mike Lucas (Andrea), Rob Reaves and Luke Lucas.
