She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Secrest and Bessie Britton Secrest; her husband Gilbert "Bill" Lyons; her sons, Richard Bruce Lyons and Gilbert Dale Lyons; her grandson Lester Prouty II; her sons-in-law, Gerald Prouty and Gary Kearns; and her siblings, Vadah Adkins, Hope Larson Ava Girton, Dorothy Touvell, Arthur Secrest Jr., James Secrest, Wayne Secrest and William Secrest.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Prouty, Nancy Kearns and Stanley Lyons (Bernie); her daughter-in-law Debbie Lyons; and her grandchildren, Susan Irwin, Joyce Schneider (Bobby), Greg Prouty (Paula), Jane Prouty-Zuccolillo (Joey), Laurie Wisnefski (Jeff), Tim Prouty (Melody), Alan Prouty (Julie), Lynn Kearns (Shelli), Jenny Prouty Emler, Steve Lyons, Michelle Curry (Kevin), Lisa Sharrer (Rick), David Lyons (Pam), Vikki Smith (Scott) and Matt Lyons. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
