With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zudie M. Butler of Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Pittman and Ludi Pittman (Dixon); her husband Robert L. Butler; her son James L. Butler; her grandson Andrew J. Butler; and her brothers, Ezra Pittman (Drucilla) and Billy Madden Pittman.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Caris (Robert) of Norwalk, Janet Johnson (Charles) of Corinth, Mississippi and Alton Butler (Lois) of La Grange, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Jeremy C. Caris, Scott A. Butler, Michael A. Caris, Colleen Jerrod, Paul T. Johnson and Timothy C. Johnson; her sister Erva Wilbanks; and her sister-in-law Omma Ray Pittman. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
