He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Rice and Alice Rice (Brown); his stepfather Charles Odle; and his brothers, Robert Rice, Everett Rice and Clarence Lee Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Rice; his daughters, Mary Haugen (Joshua), Kathy Nansel (Vern), Debbie Sanchez (John) and Brenda Campbell (Eric); his grandchildren, River, Ashley, Justin, Austin, Jake, Garrett, Cole, Ruth, Joshua, Klara, Jonathan and Lyla; his great grandchildren, Sky and Brysen; and his sister Carolyn Braddock. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
