He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Sr. Carsey and Ellen Carsey (Aldrige); and his brothers, Joe, Jerry and Charles W. Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Carsey (Vogel); his children, Michael D. Carsey (Tracy) of Phoenix, AZ and Lisa L. Schaffer (Dan) of Monroeville; his grandchildren, Kelby, Mikayla, Hannah Carsey, Ashley, Camron and Cody Schaffer; and his siblings, Ruth A. Steele of Glouster, OH, Harry D. Carsey of Sutherlin, VA and Byron A. "Barney" Carsey of Albany, OH.. He is also survived by grandchildren and his best friend and four-legged companion.
