He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Dick" Ensign; and his brother Gregg Ensign. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ensign (Hickman) of Norwalk; his wife Allison Ensign (Bowling); his children, Anthony Biecheler (Heather), Guam and Gage Ensign (Mackenzie Carr) of Bellevue; his grandchildren, Emma, Sawyer, Shephard Biecheler and Remy Scriver; his siblings, Keith Ensign of Norwalk and Kim of Tennessee; his father-in-law James Bowling (Geraldine) of Norwalk; and his friend Mo Van Vlerah of Milan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
