He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Loyer and Carmella Loyer (Grizzanti); his son William Loyer; and his brothers, Daniel, Steve and Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Loyer (Meter) of Norwalk; his children, Lyndsay Loyer, Matthew Schramm of Norwalk, Dawn Hush of Port Clinton and Allison Libengood of Elyria; and his siblings, Michael Loyer of Norwalk, Maria Hackathorn of Norwalk and Renee Whitney of Norwalk.
