It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonny B Coles (Norwalk, Ohio), who passed away on October 11, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Pauline Coles (Taylor); his son Sonny B. Coles Jr.; his mother Carrie Banks; and his brother James Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Mary G. Myrick-Coles; his daughters, Stephanie Henderson (Monty), Mary Johnson (Willie Sr.) and Ellen "Theresa" Coles; his stepchildren, Hyestine Jones, John Jones, Hyester Jones and Ransom Tarrant Jr.; his grandchildren, Jason Coles, Courtney Coles, Jared Johnson, Willie Johnson Jr., Taylar Johnson, Monty Henderson Jr., Darien Henderson and Erika Henderson; and his cousin Louise Boyd. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
