He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Link (Kenneth) and Gerald Brant Sr.; his son Ronald Brant Jr.; and his siblings, Gerald Brant Jr., Gary Brant, Donald Brant and Susie Powers.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Brant; his children, Dawn Thompson (Dwight), Brenda Thompson (William), Shawn Brant (Amy Fulton), Connie Brant, Ann Crookshanks (Robert), Kevin Brant (Jill) and Shannon Davis; and his sister Norma Brant Miller. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
