He is survived by: his children, Rodney Burley Jr. (Heidi) of North Fairfield and Cynthia Smith (Chris) of Monroeville; his siblings, Thomas Burley, Joanne Jenck and Diane Koch; and his grandchildren, Sunshine Burley, Danielle Rang, Hillary Duff Burley, Dylan Davis and Mercedez Burley. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
