He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Vern and Dorothy Ehresman; his daughters, Gwendolyn Dale Ehresman and Brenda Lee Ehresman; and his siblings, Lela Irene Stuckert, Margaret Jan Stweart, Virginia Auck, Violet Fern Dentinger, John Ehresman, Lee Vern Ehresman, Richard Ehresman and James Jay Ehresman.
He is survived by: his wife Alta Swander; his children, Ronald Ehresman (Barbara) of Norwalk and Vickie Lynn Ehresman of Point Place, Toledo; his grandchildren, Dustin Ehresman (Christie) of Attica, Michael Ehresman of Norwalk, Matthew Balmer (Nickki) of Ozark Lake and Heather Darr of Port Clinton; and his great grandchildren, Collin, Colton, Corbin Ehresman, Jadin Tasah, Chloe, Raigen, Azlin Balmer, Gavin, Morgan and Makalia White.
