He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Boyer and Alverna Boyer (Strecker). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Boyer (Smith); his children, Cynthia Johannes (Jeff), Roberta "Bobbie" Vazquez (Johnny) and Robert Boyer (Pam); his grandchildren, Christine Maynez (Gabe), Christopher Reyes, Gavin Clark, Bryce and Marissa Boyer; his great grandchild Lily Maynez; and his brothers, Dave Boyer (Sandy), Chuck Boyer (Kim) and Leroy Boyer.
