He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simon and Florence Simon (Smith); his sister Betty Lou; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Mable Chapin.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Simon (Chapin); his children, Linda Marks (Joe) of Norwalk, Lori Fabian (Mark) of Strongsville, Michael Simon (Lisa) of Norwalk and Matthew Simon of Savannah, GA; his grandchildren, Adam Koubek (Nicole) of Allen, TX, Lauren Ruiz of Norwalk, Abigayle, Adrianna Simon of Savannah, GA, Nicholas Fabian of Cleveland, Alyssa, Morgan Fabian of Strongsville, Brianna Marks of North Olmstead and Brittany Marks of Elyria; and his sister Judith Bowers (Frank) of Vermilion. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
