It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Burke of Norwalk, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Burke and Henrietta Burke (Maynard); and his brother Johnny Jensen. He is survived by: his wife Anita Burke (Pratt) of Norwalk, Ohio; his children, Nicole Smith (Chaz) of Sheffield Lake, Christopher Pratt (Tonya) of Norwalk and Samantha Pratt (Darren) of Greenwich, Ohio; his grandchildren, Michael, Isabella, Samuel, Jeremiah, Jaxon, Korbin and Ellie; his aunt Mary Ann Hamilton of Shenandoah, VA; and his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Slagel and Mark Gainok. He is also survived by numerous aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. For entry inside all visitors are required to bring and wear a mask. Only a small group of visitors will be allowed inside at one time, and everyone should be prepared for the possibility of waiting outside in line until there is room available to allow for proper social distancing.
Memorial contributions if desired may be made out directly to the family or to the funeral home in care of the family.
