He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Cook Sr. and Jennie Ferguson Cook; his wife Lillie M. Cook; and his brother George H. Cook Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Walter B. Wade of Mansfield, OH, Evelyn J. Wade of Norwalk, OH, Jacquelyn Wade Hatchett of Parma, OH and John Rodney Cook (Brandi) of Norwalk, OH; his sister Lottie Cook; and his grandchildren, Tyrone, Tamera, Walter, Likkia, Steven, John, Courtney, Jessica, Aaron, Darian, Makayla and Tywan. He is also survived by first of 19 great grandchildren; four sisters in law, one brother in law, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home (98 W Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (200 Woodlawn Ave, Norwalk, OH 44857).
