With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rayfield Harkness (Norwalk, Ohio), born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on January 3, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Thompson Harkness; his parents, James Honeycutt Harkness, Sr. and Bertha Ann Stubbs Harkness; and his siblings, Lother, Bill, Ruben, David, Roy, Hugh, Roland, John Henry, James (J. H.), Swan (J. T.), Jessie Dell and Audie Dell.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Antionette) of Columbus, Herbert (Jennifer) of Mansfield, Shirley (Stan) of Mansfield, Tara (Steven) of Norwalk, OH and Christopher of Norwalk; his godchildren, Lisa Caffey and Troy Price; and his great-niece Edie Warner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of loving relatives and friends.
