He was predeceased by: his mother Alma Schnellinger (Adelman); his wife Joyce Schnellinger; his daughter Kathy; and his siblings, Pauline Fisher, Richard Schnellinger, Walt Schnellinger, Sr., Carla Schnellinger, Marge Schnellinger, Kenny Schnellinger and Mary Trares.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Schnellinger of Norwalk, Gail Laird (Dave) of California, Paula Schnellinger of Norwalk, Mark Schnellinger (Lois) of Willard and Pat Schnellinger (Beth) of Norwalk; and his grandchildren, Scott (Andrea), Jennifer (Bobby), Jarod, Cathy and Karli. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
